We know that the coming weeks will be especially difficult for those who are at heightened risk due to age, underlying health conditions, or suppressed immunity. But, members of our congregation have already volunteered to provide support! If you need extra help (e.g. with picking up groceries or medications), or if you are healthy and able to help in these ways, please contact Beth Dodson.
Our Food Pantry team will be adjusting our monthly food distribution to follow guidelines from the Indy Hunger Network. If you are willing to help distribute food from the Community Food Pantry this month, please contact Cort Gillette or Bill Gurney. The April Food Pantry will be on April 28.
During the time that Washington Township schools are closed, FBC wants to support the educational needs of our Karen and Karenni community students in addition to the At Home Learning and E-Learning days provided by the School District. If you are interested in providing basic tutoring online for students in English, basic math or other subjects, please contact Chris Seigel for more information.
